    Participation in Continuing Education

Continuing Education (CE) is a key component of the College’s Quality Assurance Program that helps ensure optometrists maintain their skills, adapt to changes in practice, and remain current with developments in technology, scope, and standards of practice.

The College’s current CE cycle ends on December 31, 2020 and we’re revising the current CE Policy for the upcoming CE cycle, which would run from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023. We want to hear from optometrists about the proposed changes ahead of the September Council meeting.

The policy outlines the CE requirements optometrists must meet in the three-year CE cycle (January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023).
