Fitness to Practise Committee The Fitness to Practise Committee is a statutory committee made up of two professional members, one of whom is a member of Council, and one public member of Council. The Committee is an adjudicative body that holds hearings to determine whether or not a member is suffering from a mental or physical disorder that may interfere with his or her ability to practise optometry.
